I’m Cally Cole (she/her), a Minnesota native now living in New Orleans, and lead singer of the cosmos. My roots lie in folk, Americana, and I spent 17 years playing classical flute. I grew up singing with my sister at our dad’s shows, and spent 4 years in a mo-town/soft rock cover band in Duluth, MN. All in all, I am a sucker for a good harmony and a melody that sweeps your heart up. In 2023 I released an EP that I created with my friend, Josh Starkman, and partner, Albert Allenback. The music I’ve crafted since feels more raw as I focus on stream-of-consciousness storytelling, pulling inspiration from childhood, and finding ways to make sense of all the pain, confusion, love, and joy in this wild world. Truthfully, I just want to give people a soft place to land and permission to feel whatever arises because that’s all I ever wanted for myself. Tears are good for the soul and connection is good for the heart.

In August 2025, the idea of Cally Cole & The Cosmos was born! I had only been performing solo and my dear friend Molly asked if I had ever thought of starting a band — from that point on we have been building the plane as we fly it (we literally booked our first show before we booked the band lol). We hope to bring this music to a special new place that reaches the stars and beyond. This band consists of Molly Graham (violin/music director), Jemila Dunham (bass), Kate Chopin (lead guitar), Rose Cangelosi (percussion), and Cally Cole (lead vocals/guitar). We played our first show at Marigny Opera House in January 2026 and SOLD OUT!!! This is just the beginning. Thank you for being here and thank you for supporting our dream!!
